September 13, 2019U.S. airlines carried an estimated 78.2 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in August 2019, seasonally-adjusted, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ (BTS) first estimate, up 0.3% from the July second estimate.The BTS estimate of the August enplanement total of 78.2 million was a seasonally-adjusted all-time high.BTS estimated 68.5 million domestic passengers and 9.8 million international passengers on U.S. airlines in August.

August 15, 2019U.S. airlines carried an all-time high estimated 77.9 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in July 2019, seasonally-adjusted, more than in any other month, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ (BTS) first estimate.The July estimated passengers were 0.2% more than the June second estimate (77.8M), the previous high, and 3.8% more than the July 2018 reported data (75.1M).
